Minister Michael Masutha to table the Budget Vote for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development

Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Adv. Michael Masutha, will table an annual budget policy statement before the National Assembly under the theme “Towards a transformed and accessible justice system for all” on 18 May 2017.

The aim of the speech is to outline the targets and priorities set for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) for the 2017/18 financial year, within the allocated budget of the Department.

Members of the media are invited to a media briefing prior to the delivery of the speech. This will present an opportunity for the Department to reflect on the progress made in the past financial and to map a way forward on future commitments.

The media briefing will be held as follows:
