Charity DriveMinister Kubayi calls for toy and book donations to bring hope to child survivors of GBVF

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mmamoloko Kubayi, invites all employees, stakeholders, and partners to support the Charity Drive: One Toy. One Book. One Future.

By donating a new or gently loved toy (child-friendly, non-violent) or a book that inspires and uplifts, you can help bring comfort, joy, and hope to children who are survivors of gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF).

Where to give

DROP-OFF BOXES ARE AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE AT:

  • The Department’s National and Provincial Offices and Magistrates’ Courts
  • Offices of the Master of the High Court, Family Advocates, and State Attorneys

BULK DONATIONS CAN BE DIRECTED TO:

  • Directors of Legal and Advocacy in the Department’s provincial offices
  • Office Managers at Masters, Family Advocates and State Attorneys’ offices
  • Court Managers at Magistrates’ Courts

Main Collection Drive: Friday, 3 October 2025.
Donations will be distributed during the 16 Days of Activism (25 November – 10 December 2025) to facilities supporting child survivors.

Donations can be delivered until 31 October 2025!
