Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates to Commemorate 20th Anniversary with a Keynote Address by Minister Lamola

The Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates is marking its 20th anniversary. Minister Lamola will deliver a keynote speech at the celebration, that offers valuable insights into the life and legacy of Duma Nokwe, an iconic figure in the liberation struggle. Established in 2003, the group takes pride in upholding the values of this remarkable individual.

Duma Nokwe's story inspires many. Despite facing numerous challenges, he persevered and achieved great success. From humble beginnings in Evaton to becoming the first African advocate in the Transvaal as it was known then, Duma Nokwe made history and left an indelible mark on South African history. His unwavering commitment to the liberation struggle and his leadership role as Secretary General of the African National Congress continues to inspire many.

Minister Lamola will pay tribute to this incredible individual. The Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates existence is a fitting celebration of his life and legacy, a reminder of his unwavering commitment to justice and equality, and an inspiration to all who seek to impact the world positively.
