Deputy Minister Jeffery to delivery a Keynote Address at the Freedom Month Event on 26 April 2023, in KwaZulu-Natal

The Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr John Jeffery, will as part of the Freedom Month commemoration, deliver a keynote address at the Richmond Freedom Month event on Wednesday, 26 April 2023 at the Indaleni School for the Deaf (Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal).

The event is a joint initiative by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and the Office of the Deputy Minister, it is intended to provide an opportunity for the youth to reflect on a variety of issues pertaining to the current state of our Democracy, the Constitution and the implications of Voter’s Apathy.

The event is organised under the theme "What is Youth Perspective around Freedom Day and Youth Participation in Democracy?"
