Deputy Minister for Justice and Constitutional Development, John Jeffery will deliver the opening address at the workshop for the National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance (NAP), scheduled to be held this Friday in Midrand.
The workshop will see the tabling of the final revised draft NAP to stakeholders (government departments, civil society and Chapter 9 institutions), after which the NAP will be taken through to Cabinet for final approval. This follows an extensive process of consultations and input involving various partners, stakeholders and communities around the country.
