Minister Michael Masutha to undertake visits to Protea Magistrate’s Court and Johannesburg Family Court

The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Michael Masutha, will engage members of the public on their experiences during the visits to the Protea Magistrate’s Court and Johannesburg Family Court on Thursday, 26 July 2018.

The visits are part of departmental fact finding mission on the operational and infrastructural challenges encountered by the court staff when providing justice services. The Minister will also inspect adherence to court processes by the staff and engage members of the media on the findings of his visits.

Members of the media are invited to the walkabout of the following court facilities; these being:

Protea Magistrate Court in Soweto
Corner Ndaba and Kunene Streets
Protea, Soweto
Time: 08:00

And

Johannesburg Family Court
1655 Albertina Sisulu Road, Newtown
Johannesburg
Time: 11:30
