  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Credit Bureau Association (CBA), Code of Conduct: Lawful Processing of Personal Information in credit Sector, 15 Oct 2021
    As issued in GG 45306, GeN 596 on 12 Oct 2021 and in terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from Credit Bureau Association (CBA) that deals with how personal information will be processed in the credit sector.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from Maktaba Stationery TA PNA, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from MAKTABA STATIONERY TA PNA, a stationery retail company trading as PNA. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from Willow Acres Estate, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from WILLOW ACRES ESTATE, a company which is a Homeowners Association as defined in the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from WILLCOM (Pty) Ltd, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from WILLCOM (PTY) LTD, a company functioning in the telecommunication and information industry. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from Silk Route Gold (Pty) Ltd, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from SILK ROUTE GOLD (PTY) LTD, a full-service company that specializes in the processing of responsibly sourced precious metals. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from Rockjumper Birding Tours CC, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from ROCKJUMPER BIRDING TOURS CC, a close corporation which offers birding adventure. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the close corporation. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from National Radiology Services Inc, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from National Radiology Services Inc, a medical service provider in the Radiology industry. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Code of Conduct from Regio Independent School, 02 August 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from REGIO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL, a company which is an independent school consisting of Pre-primary and primary education. The code deals with how personal information will be processed by the company. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 13th August 2021. A notice will also be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA.
  • Notice in terms of Section 61(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (POPIA): Banking Association South Africa (BASA), Lawful processing of personal information by member Banks, 08 June 2021
    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a code of conduct from the Banking Association South Africa (BASA) that deals with how personal information will be processed by member banks. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 30th June 2021. A notice will be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with section 61 (2) of POPIA on the 11th June 2021.

    In terms of the provisions of section 61 (2) of POPIA, the Information Regulator (South Africa) gives notice that the Regulator is in receipt of a Code of Conduct from the Credit Bureau Association (CBA) that deals with how personal information will be processed in the credit sector. Affected persons are invited to submit written comments to the Regulator (email address: Codes.IR@justice.gov.za) till the 30 April 2021. A notice will be published in the Government Gazette in compliance with Section 61(2) of POPIA on the 23 April 2021.
